Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy (also known as talk therapy or counseling) is a form of therapy in which a person works one-on-one to address psychological or emotional challenges. The goal is to help the individual gain insight, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall mental well-being.
Individual psychotherapy is helpful for people dealing with a variety of issues, including but not limited to: 

  • Anxiety or panic disorders 

  • Depression and mood disorders 

  • Stress management 

  • Relationship problems 

  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) 

  • Grief and loss 

  • Self-esteem or identity issues 

  • Life transitions (e.g., divorce, job loss, aging)
